Welcome to the Clinical Outcomes and Processes (COP) Lab at The College of New Jersey. This lab is dedicated to studying cognitive processes that are associated with clinical outcomes. At the moment, we are focusing on the cognitive processes of rumination and mindfulness. We have researched a range of clinical outcomes, such as depression, aggression, sleep, disordered eating, anxiety, and social connectedness. This lab is also dedicated to providing undergraduate Psychology majors with hands-on and closely supervised training in all the stages of the research process, from developing a research idea and design to collecting and analyzing data to presenting results at professional conferences. The COP lab is directed by Dr. Ashley Borders, Associate Professor of Psychology at TCNJ.
